Searching for Community

Swaddled in a hammock, you lift your sunglasses to notice a checked cloth secured to a large table with piles of paper plates and jugs of pink lemonade. A tantalizing aroma of marinated meats searing on the grill wafts in your direction. Neighbors lounge on lawn chairs opposite each other, laughing as they exchange iced drinks from the coolers at their feet. Piles of watermelon wedges spill from massive bowls, and sticky, little fingers snatch pieces when the adults aren't looking. The smile on your face spreads to your eyes. You've been searching all over, not just for a house, but for a community.  

 HOALiving is a network of companies that reinforce a spirit of community,  being an integral part of something larger. They provide support to HOA communities, board members and professionals. They approached JamboJon with a massive project: an update for their main website and 11 umbrella sites within their network. Their previous website crashed with every new update. As HOALiving addressed system functionality, they seized the opportunity to rebrand themselves and create a complementary foundation for the rest of their network sites. This project required an intricate level of detail we have never seen before.

It's All In the Details

An expedition generally begins by assembling a team, each possessing specific talents and skills to aid the search. The JamboJon strategy was no different. Because of the sizable scope of the project, JamboJon tackled one section at a time, one website at a time, triaging the creation of every community and service page. We tapped into the strengths of each team member, heavily involving our client's expertise. All team members worked in tandem to perfect the content, tweak the designs, link all outside services, and test its functionality. This gigantic project showcased JamboJon team skill and expertise. Each professional, including writers, designers and programmers, brought their expertise to the table and the outcome was spectacular!

Because HOALiving is a massive network of multiple companies, we coordinated cross-branding for each of the different sites. We utilized complementary color schemes and designs to show their connection.

Members of the HOALiving network are located throughout the United States. We added a Google map with an easily accessible pin drop to find each location.

Images and Design

We customized a design in each brand that portrayed inviting images of different communities across the nation. From single-family homes to apartments and condominiums - in locations across the Intermountain West, to the MidWest and beyond.
