How Our Billing Works

At JamboJon, we want billing to feel clear and predictable. Before work begins, we’ll explain what is included, what it will cost, and what you can expect next.

This page provides a general overview of our billing process. Your proposal, estimate, service agreement, retainer agreement, and JamboJon’s Terms and Conditions contain the specific terms that apply to your work.

Website Update Requests

When an existing customer submits a website update request, we’ll review the request and prepare a fixed-price estimate. Our estimates are based on an internal rate of $165 per hour and account for the anticipated time and resources needed to complete the work.

Your estimate will describe the work included, the total price, and the anticipated turnaround time. To move forward, simply accept the estimate and submit payment online. Once we receive both your approval and payment, we’ll add the work to our production schedule.

Although we use our hourly rate to prepare the estimate, you are approving a fixed price for the work described—not an open-ended hourly invoice. The price will not be adjusted based on the exact amount of time the approved work takes to complete.

If the Request Changes

Sometimes a request grows or changes after the original estimate is approved. If you ask for additional pages, features, revisions, content, troubleshooting, or other work outside the original request, we’ll let you know before completing it.

We’ll send a separate estimate for the added work so you can review, approve, and pay for it before we continue. This helps everyone stay aligned and prevents unexpected charges.

Turnaround Times

The anticipated turnaround time for your website update will be included in the estimate. Scheduling begins after the estimate has been accepted and payment has been received.

Timing may vary depending on the size and complexity of the request, our current production schedule, and when we receive the content, access credentials, feedback, or other materials needed to complete the work.

Rush Requests

When our schedule allows, rush service may be available for work requiring overnight, weekend, or holiday attention. Approved rush requests include an additional charge equal to 10% of the estimate.

We’ll confirm availability and include the rush charge in your estimate before you approve and pay for the work.

Monthly Retainers

Monthly retainer clients are billed automatically, as outlined in their individual retainer agreements. Those agreements explain the services, support, and billing arrangements included in each engagement.

If you need work that falls outside your retainer, we’ll let you know and provide a separate estimate when appropriate.

New Websites and Redesigns

New website builds and redesigns follow the payment schedule and project benchmarks listed in the new client agreement. Your agreement will explain the approved scope, deliverables, and payment schedule for your specific project.

If you request work beyond the approved project scope, we’ll discuss it with you and provide a separate estimate before completing the additional work.

Have a Billing Question?

We’re committed to transparent pricing and clear communication. If you have questions about an estimate, payment, invoice, or what is included in your project, please contact our team. We’re happy to provide clarification before you approve the work.
