How Can You Turn a Personal Challenge into a Supportive Community?
A New Website that Offers Pins, Markers and Waypoints for Women’s Health
You squint out the blurry window, white-knuckling the steering wheel and wondering for the tenth time, if you’re on the right street. You pull over and check your phone. Where are you? You know where you should be going, and you certainly know where you’ve been, but you scan for any landmarks to help you identify your route. An upside down, teardrop-shaped pin would be welcome right now. Or, even better, a little blue arrow pointing the nose of your car towards the correct course. Our friend, Jyl Pattee realized that for women in their 40s and 50s, they were left on their own to navigate menopause. She decided to create a website for these women.
Jyl approached the JamboJon team with a new business idea. Because of her own experience, she wanted to create a resource for visitors to pinpoint where they are on their menopause journey, what to do, and waypoints to watch for along the way. She envisioned a repository for readers to learn about menopause and be an information resource. They could become an expert in the field. She wanted to build a community for those experiencing challenges and similar stages in menopause. Initially, she wanted to build a shopping cart into a new website to generate internal revenue, but since the website launched, has devoted more time to supplementing the blog and the resources offered to her visitors.
“You can always count on the JamboJon team to exceed your expectations and do it with professionalism, quality, and kindness.”

Valuable Content Draws a Crowd
JamboJon collaborated with Jyl’s team to build a hub of valuable content and interactive resources. Free quizzes provide a helpful starting point for visitors and a blog offers insightful articles. Visitors can access a wealth of free materials, including a downloadable guide, an eBook, and a comprehensive 13-part email series. These resources attract and engage visitors, but also give them markers as to where they are on their menopause journey. A mixture of image mediums, bright colors and a splash of humor keep her audience’s attention.
- Interactive engagement with clients
