Joseph Grenny is an entrepreneur, social innovator, and New York Times bestselling author of eight books with over five million copies in print, including Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, Change Anything, and Crucial Influence. He cofounded and runs Crucial Learning (now private-equity owned), a global leader in communication, performance, and leadership training used by nearly half of the Forbes Global 2000. He was named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007 and 2016 and his work has helped millions build stronger relationships and achieve lasting results.

Joseph also applies his entrepreneurial drive to solving social challenges. He cofounded Unitus Labs, which has scaled poverty solutions to 50 million people and mobilized $2 billion for socially driven ventures. He also cofounded The Other Side Academy, a residential school that helps people with histories of crime, addiction, and homelessness completely transform their lives, and The Other Side Village, a 500 person community in Salt Lake City for people transitioning out of homelessness and incarceration.
