Steady Paddling: How JamboJon Helped SLSHRM Stay On Course
Finding Balance On Unsteady Waters
Navigating leadership transitions feels a lot like canoeing. You need balance, rhythm, and a clear destination. When a new group steps into the canoe, keeping that balance gets tricky. Each paddle stroke must work in sync, or the whole operation veers off course. The Salt Lake Society for Human Resource Management (SLSHRM) came to JamboJon with a unique challenge: Can you build a website that remains consistent when the leadership and decision makers switch every year? They needed a site that functioned so well that, no matter who stepped into the canoe, they could steer the organization forward.
JamboJon took on the task of building a website that could stay steady even as SLSHRM’s management changed. With a transient board of HR professionals – sometimes as many as 20 voices at once, it was easy for the website to get pulled into too many directions. We had to simplify the paddling, streamline the decision-making, and build a site that could handle changing hands without losing its course.
A Website Built for Smooth Sailing
To solve these challenges, JamboJon structured the website with an organized, easy-to-navigate approach. We had to maintain the balance between flexibility and stability. By building a website that kept its structure, usability, and creativity in sync, we helped SLSHRM create an online presence that works no matter who is in the canoe. The HR professionals running the site can now focus on what matters – supporting their members – without worrying about going back to “square one” every time the board changes. Just like a canoe, the website stays on course, no matter who is holding the paddle.
- Structured the website with organized, intuitive navigation.
- Maintained the balance between flexibility and stability.
- Created a consistent online presence regardless of who is at the helm.
